At Seagate Dental we offer two options in tooth whitening:
In-Surgery ZOOM Whitening
Ideal for patients who don’t have time for at-home whitening or who like to see immediate results. The treatment is carried out safely and painlessly by your dentist — you’ll need 90 minutes in our dental chair, after which your teeth will be noticeably shades lighter.
Following treatment you’ll be provided with custom whitening trays and initial whitening gel to maintain your new smile.
At-Home Whitening
A simple treatment in which your teeth whiten gently and controllably after every application. You can choose how often to use the whitening gel depending on how white you want your teeth to become.
You’ll receive custom whitening trays (like thin mouthguards) and peroxide-based whitening gel for use during the day or at night, to suit your lifestyle.
Good to Know
✓ Most people achieve a shade they’re happy with after about 2 weeks of at-home use.
✓ Crowns, bridges, veneers and fillings don’t lighten in the same way as natural teeth.
✓ We recommend a professional clean before any whitening treatment.
✓ Top-up syringes of whitening gel are available inexpensively from the practice.
